TEAM OVERVIEW

The San Diego Stars Baseball Club has been competing at a semi-professional level since 1981.

The Stars are well recognized throughout baseball's semi-pro ranks from Canada to Mexico and on the west coast as a tournament traveling team.

The Stars' roster is comprised primarily of San Diego talent, a mixture of ex-professionals, free agents, collegiate players from D1, NAIA, and community colleges. The Stars do welcome out of town talent that allows them to compete not only at a national level, but at the international level as well.

The Stars are fortunate to have their own baseball field which allows them to have unrestricted access for practice and ball games. Their schedule ranges from 45 to 60 games per season based on the number of tournaments entered and Stars' finishes. a 4 to 5 game schedule per week and 3 to 4 major tournaments. Home games are played at the Field of Stars, located at the Barona Indian Reservation in Lakeside, California. (For more on the Stars, including contact information, please visit our website above).
