TEAM OVERVIEW |
The San Diego Mavericks Baseball team recruits from across the country. Baseball in San Diego is very competitive and the San Diego Mavericks are among the top collegiate baseball teams in the California coastal area. The goal of the Mavericks is to improve the quality of collegie/amateur baseball and provide a forum for those young players wanting to continue their pursuit of baseball at a higher level. Beginning in June and continuuing through the end of July, these student athletes and free agents participate in a program geared to showcase their skills. The competition in our competitive league allws coaches and scouts a way to view a large group of possible scholarship or professional prospects. The Mavericks plays most of their games in San Diego. They also travel to Santa Barbara (Foresters), Santa Maria (Indians) and San Luis Obispo (Blues), as well as to other cities and states such as Las Vegas, Nevada.
